The ninth incarnation of the Infinity Knight called the Inspector was played by English actor and comedian Mark Williams. Williams revived the character of the Inspector with sad humour and a genuine presence. Unfortunately, his obligations to the Harry Potter film franchise cut his tenure to only one season. However, after these movies were completed, Williams was estatic to return for the 50th anniversary specials.
