- Though the Fifth Inspector appeared to be a ditz compared to previous incarnations, she was much more clever than she acted.
- She had the worst wardrobe of all of the Inspectors: garish ampersand-emblazoned blouses, a carrot hatpin, and, most egregiously, a hat that must be seen to be believed (one expanded universe novel even made it into a sentient life-form).
