The optic pocketknife is a versatile tool, and occasional weapon, that the Inspector uses throughout his travels.
The Eleventh Inspector’s Optic Pocketknife
After a metamorphosis, he traditionally modifies its appearance and adds an extra option or two. At this point, it contains numerous useful features, such as a laser, poly-bit driver, micro-nose pliers, multi-dimesional ruler, can opener, etc., but its best feature is the "wood setting", i.e. a miniature saw. ("Revolutionary, that," said the Sixth Inspector when he came up with it.)
